The Gaza Strip first became important to me in 2007. I had actually never heard of it before that date. So here is a map showing its placement.

Left: the Gaza Strip is in the lower left of the picture, in Israel but on the border to Egypt. It is the home of a large population of Palestinians who are largely of Moslem faith. (Click here to go to Gaza Strip in Wikipedia). However, as you will see on the map there is no Palestine marked. [5]

The Gaza Strip has suffered year long strangulation since the border was closed and life there is all but impossible. It has been compared to a concentration camp. Largely due to the absorption of Palestinian refugees, the population in 2006 was 4 persons to a square  meter and in 2007 there were 1,4 million people![1] It was quite difficult to find a map that showed Palestine on it, most just showed Israel. Palestine seems tob be sinking or absorbed into the body of israel.

What does this conflict around the Gaza Strip have to do with the Galactic Centre and what might it have to do with 2012?[2]

 In 2006 I looked up the dates in the next year when any kind of cataclysm could be expected and found that one of the most likely dates was the 14th June 2007 (see chart above right). Though at that point I did not look to which specific land might be affected.

In mid-June for about a week, and particularly from the 14th to 15th  an aspect formed in the heavens. This aspect is shown in the astrological chart above. In my book  and other articles, I indicate how this aspect that I have dubbed the Star of David aspect, induces disasters on Earth.This is especially likely when the Galactic Centre is involved and when additionally there is a T square or grand cross in the chart.

I reasoned that a number of disasters would be possible in this week: the air signs were involved and as Uranus in the water sign of Pisces was in a T square, and Neptune and the Galactic Centre were also involved, this suggested also storms and water disasters, but most likely I thought, because the fire signs were strongly involved, with both malefics included: Saturn in Leo and Mars in Aries, that ther difficulties would express  through war, fire, explosion, and possibly a volcanic eruption.

There were a number of all these kinds of disasters, with the worst storm in 30 years in Australia, flooding in Asia as also some volcanic rumbles. But let us concentrate on what I see as the most significant event.

This was the climax of the Palestinian Civil War between the Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) and Fatah (Palestine Liberation Movement), which had already shown flare ups twice in December as the Sun moved over the Galactic Centre[3]In December 2007 as Jupiter conjunct the Gc at the solstice news came that  complete collapse was imminent. The problems involved Israel as well, which being also attacked began dropping bombs from the air. It closed all checkpoints on this date after 116 people were killed.

On the afternoon of 14th June an explosion occurred that rocked Gaza City[4]. It was caused as Fatah officials were forced to withdraw and blew the building, so that Hamas gunmen could not take it over. But the Hamas  did take control of the city of Fatah, and the Gaza Strip was overrun. As they proclaimed themselves to be the legitimate government of the Palestine National Authority, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas responded by declaring a state of emergency. On June 15th, Hamas completed their take- over of Gaza. Hamas spokeman Moussa Abu Marzouk placed the blame for the worsening situation in the Strip upon Israel, stating that the constant pressure of economic sanctions upon Gaza resulted in the "real explosion."

What is happening in the Middle East generally,  is a toothache with a very long history that is coming to a climax as our Great Year age draws to an end. Looking at this area under the blanket name of Israel, which is full of religious disputes and factions and fences, we may see it will be the centre of the changes and conflicts and perhaps  World War II as we approach the End Time Armaggedon. It is appropriate that it should proudly display the Star of David on its flag. All stories are parts of one Story and nothing occurs by accident, especially not here, close to the Holy City of Jerusalem:

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and Jerusalem.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

And then „The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell.“ As Revelation tells us, supposedly referring to a great earthquake dividing Israel into three pieces after terrible human conflicts and tribulation. The  mosque on the holy Temple Rock (also called Mount Moriah named after the original holy mountain of Meru) in Jerusalem had to go on the book cover I made in 2005: my blood knew of  the conflict coming, though my brain forgets. Not one stone would be left upon another Jesus told, in the time of tribulation.

Jeru-salem also takes its name from the holy volcanic mountain Meru, as does the mountain to the north of Israel called Har Meron in the uppermost map, as also Har Megiddon where Armaggeddon is awaited.

 [i]Let us redirect our thoughts to the recent past and near future. Why were Israel and Palestine hit by the disaster in June 2007? Well, for starters these two lands were both founded in May 1948 just hours away from each other and so are rather like twin brothers with similar charts. Both have a powerful bow and arrow pointing at Saturn conjunct Pluto in Leo also conjunct the explosive mixture of Mars and the Moon. Seeing such an aspect, it is not unrealistic to expect a violent End Time war being waged here as has been propheseid. But what awoke the difficulties in 2007?

Right Israel’s progressed chart for June 14th 2007 with a few placings of transiting bodies in December 2008 by the second climax. 

In 2007 we see in Israel’s progressed chart for 2007, how the transiting planets on 14th June triggered the difficulties. Israel and Palestine were having a lot of relationship difficulties in this year.

Palestine’s Moon is a bit behind Israel’s and was conjunct Neptune which can cause persecution and concentration camp conditions. Israel was having a lot of difficulties on all fronts with the Moon in Libra, diplomats and presidents from the west travelled to and fro and discussed ways to protect Israel from Iran, or the Palestinians from the Israelis. Iran was thought was building an atomic bomb to drop on Israel. A large part oft he reason, as we see that in the chart, is that Saturn in Leo was transiting close to the founding and progressed Saturn conjunct Pluto in Leo, where Mars and the Moon were also placed. The chart reminded me of the Hiroshima chart in which there is a bow pointing at Pluto in Leo also.

 The symbol of the Sun, ruler of Leo, is a circle with a dot in it, the same symbol as the atom. As Pluto moved through Leo in WW2 we gained the power to destroy ourselves, the power of God, of the Sun. When this aspect is emphasized and other difficulties added it may very likely cause an atomic bomb to be dropped here. However Saturn has moved out of Leo for now, so that danger is not so acute, but let us look at the chart of Israel for the progressions and transits of June 14 2007.If we compare the two charts, or look at the planets placed around the rim of Israel's progressed chart, we see that not only is Saturn in almost the same place, but so is Jupiter: transiting Jupiter conjunct founding  Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Centre in Sagittarius. Jupiter and Saturn, the planets associated with great events, lands and beings are in aspect. The same pattern that was in 1948 repeats in 2007: both are in almost the same place and in the same aspect by transit. There are a number of other aspects which helped trigger the difficulties then.

On October 17th 2007 another Star of David formed and the conflicts escalated again. I had considered in my book that the hatred and desruction might increase when both Israel and Palestine saw their Moons progress into Scorpio still forming a bow to Lilith and pointing at transiting Pluto in Capricorn still in conjunction with the Galactic Centre. This was the case, but further signs of war were brought by the transit of Mars over the Galactic Centre and into Capricorn in December-  January 2008.   Palestine’s progressed chart for 2008

However, the most deciding factor was the T square that Mars is involved in in both progressed charts. Both Palestine and Israel are affected by it. For this T square was triggered by Saturn transiting Virgo to conjunct progressed Mars opposit Uranus in Pisces T square the GC and founding Jupiter. Such powerful T squares involving Mars are like TNT.

Such a T square also caused the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima and it too shouwed a bow to Pluto in Leo

So what can we expect in the future? In the next weeks the tension should die down as Mars has moved past its conjunction to Pluto and the GC, also Saturn, the major indicator for long term war[6] is moving retrograd and out oft he direct T square with Uranus and the GC.

However, Pluto, the destructive power that is also involved in the worst wars, remains in conjunction with the Galactic Centre and in Saturn’s sign of Capricorn. So peace will not last and the wounds not be truly healed. When Saturn returns to conjunct progressed Mars in Virgo  and square the GC and Pluto in Capricorn, as it inevitably will, the violence will renew. When Uranus moves opposite and into the sign of Mars in 2010 and opposite Israel’s progressed Mars this will in all likelihood get much worse.

Additionally the Sun, giver of Life, symbol of the Godly power (and perhaps representing also that golden mosque at the centre of Jerusalem on the Mount Moriah), is T square both ascendant and descendant. When the descendant receives transits from Jupiter in 2011, or even from the Moon as it does on 21st December 2012, the incipient Star of David will be activated in a rather explosive manner.

This Star of David is not the only one expereinced by land oft he Middle East around 2012 to 2013. That these disturbances oft he peace may be associated with earthquake is also more than likely, that is what the prophecy in the Bible tells, an d as I show in my book, particularly because of Israel’s strong connection to Saturn - the planet of the Jews and their Sabbath day.

Just as a matter of interest December 21st 2012 is a Sabbath:
