Destiny is a strange word, but life can be strange for those influenced by the Galactic Centre, for they are in touch with the very root and womb of the whole galaxy. What strange things might not happen in this case? Often such people feel that they come from another world, or they have an understanding far ahead of their time. Often they are the geniuses who we can only admire in retrospect.

This is an alphabetical list of astrological charts of people, living or dead, famous or infamous or just known by me, who have been gifted, chosen or influenced by the Galactic Centre in some special way.

Sometimes I have only given one significant event, while at other  times I look more deeply into the biography.

This list will take a while to complete, but you will see how all the great names were affected by the aspects to the Galactic centre either through birth or more often by progression at the time they became known, or chosen to carry Her message.

O and as the Galactic Centre may be Yin on the inside but also contains and births Yang, as if Yang were a subsidary but necessary part of her nature, I have used a Yin-Yang image here for the Galactic Centre.

Adams, Douglas

Famous for his books and film "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy"

Do you see the strange arrow form in the chart pointing at the Galactic Centre. The time he had his idea for his first famous book "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" was as he was 19 on a hitchhiking tour, lying on his back somewhere in Europe looking up at the stars with "The Hitchhikers Guide to Europe" on his chest. It is interesting that he saw an alien coming from the planet Betelgeuse to warn the hero just in the nick of time that he would have to leaveEarthas it was just about to be knocked down for an interstellar bypass. Betelgeuse isalmost directly opposite the Galactic Centre at the Galactic Anti-Centre.
In the chart for age 19 you see the influence of Mercury progressed to aspect the Galactic Centre with lucky Jupiter in a grand trine with Pluto in Leo all nudging him with the first idea.

Before it became a book it was broadcast successfully on radio

Here you see how the Moon's progression to Pluto  in Leo as also the Sun nearing Jupiter to all grand trine the GC made for the success of his  amusing radio broadcast.

He wrote a number of books focusing on journeys through the galaxy, which were completely original.
As the Sun increasingly conjunct Jupiter trined the GC and Pluto and the North Node and Neptune formed a bow pointing at the GC the whole thing created a kind of arrow directly towards the heart of the galaxy and that with a lot of heart power from Pluto in Leo and the Sun Jupiter in Aries. Unfortunately not all rosy and his heart gave out at 42

As Douglas Adams died there was a grand cross betweeen the planets as well as bows and arrows involving the Moon's Nodes with Pluto c. the South Node in Leo ruled by the Sun - which also rules the heart.

 Adenauer, Konrad

Born 5th January 1876-19th April 1967. He was a German statesman who was imprisoned twice by Hitler's regime, but for lack of evidence of a plot on Hitler's life was released again. The chart shows this second imprisonment. He was the first chancellor of West Germany from 1949 to 1963, and the oldest ever to serve there as chancellor, beginning his first ministry at 73. At this time Saturn was up close to his midheaven.

born February 7th 1870- May 28th 1937 . He founded his own school of psychotherapy after Freud found him too dangerous to his own ideas. He died of a heart attack while on a lecture tour as his progressed chart showed Saturn conjunct the Galactic Centre on his ascendant.

Akbar the Great was born October 15th 1545 and succeeded to the throne at the age of 14. He was widely considered the greatest of Mughal emperors, though it took nearly twenty years to stabilize his realm. He was among other things, and in his spare time, an artist, carpenter, blacksmith, general, inventor and animal trainer: he reputedly kept thousands of hunting cheetahs during his reign.
He also encouraged intellectual and religious debate. He founded also his own religious cult, which was really a way of getting himself worshipped.

This is merely another version of the same date, as Akbbar acceeds to the throne at Delhi. ;-))
I do not think Akbar would have anything against appearing twice, as with Neptune in Aries with a bow and arrow pointing at it, he likely had not just a very enlightened mind but also a very inflated ego.

 b. November 29th 1832 - March 6 1888
Author of "Little Women"This time when Louisa wrote her very popular and often filmed life about a family of sisters growing up, was one of the better times in her life. Here the Moon progressed in Gemini, sign of writing, forms a bow and arrow to the Galactic Centre conjunct Mercury, the planet of writing. So it would have been difficult for her to do anything else.

That the work should be about women is suggested by the north node of luck in Cancer sign of the Moon near the midheaven in Cancer and Venus also in aspect to a Libra (Venus ruled) ascendant and  the other Venus ruled sign of Taurus is also occupied. She late became a Suffragette. As her younger sister died she took on her two year old child.

Alexis, Prince of Russia. Best known for he is physical sickness, haemophilia, his being visited by the healer and prophet Rasputin, who some blame for the fall of Russia and the murder of the royal family by the Bolsheviks in the Russian Revolution, in which the prince was also shot at the age of 14.

It is notable that he was born into years of transformation, with Uranus conjunct the Galactic Centre opposite Pluto. Such a square between Uranus and Pluto is coming now and also existed in the Great Depression of the 1930s and a conjunction between these two planets brought the hippie revolution of the 60s. At his death there is the Star of David aspect I have found to be so prominent in the charts of the worst natural disasters. Also significant is that his Moon with Lilith is conjunct the south node for ill luck. It is said by some that his sister Anastasia may have escaped, Venus is opposite conjunct the North Node of luck. On this basis a cartoon film was made of what became of Anastasia.

Below is the birth chart of this most famous astronaut and first man on the Moon (chart time according to Jupiter 55), which shows appropriately, the Moon conjunct the Galactic Centre. Saturn also is conjunct the GC. They are in a grand trine involving Mercury for travel and the North Node for luck. Jupiter and Pluto are in the Moon ruled sign of Cancer.

As he made the famous journey to the Moon the aspects were even more interesting. The chart below
shows a Cancer ascendant with a bow forming to three heavenly bodies in that Moon ruled sign. The bow is made in part by an aspect to the Moon, which also has a bow centred on it inTaurus. With this almost Star of David aspect involving Saturn, and Mercury in a T square, things were quite close to going awfully wrong too.

looking at his birth chart below with his moon Pluto in the descendant opposite the Galactic Centre with Uranus, Saturn on the ascendant, it was meant to be that this person should have a partner, and as the fun summer sign of Gemini loves to dance, a dancing partner is quite ideal.
astraire.jpg

He found the right dancing partner in Ginger Rogers. The Moon was conjunct the red planet Mars in the sign of Leo the lion as they formed their duet. That fitted well to her name of Ginger and her character. That they were so well matched lay with the bow to Jupiter in Scorpio involving the north node.

Isaac  Asimov  b. January 2nd 1920 - Apr 6 1992. A Russian born Americam Sci-Fi author, considered one of the top three of his genre. One of his major series was the  Galactic Empire series .

The birth chart shows that he is born with all the necessary potential to be a writer, especially about the galaxy. With Mercury conjunct the Galactic Centre, and Mercury's sign Gemini  rising. The Sci-fi adventure part is then added by the bow and arrow with Uranus in Aquarius and Mars in Libra. A bow to Jupiter c. Neptune in Leo would have given him a great imagination as well.

Although I try to avoid talking about my house system, this is one of the cases where the chart only makes sense when one realizes that the traditional 5th house is the 8th house of Scorpio and death.

Below we see at birth already some event which brought the native into close contact with death, most likely a very traumatic birth after which a good mother-child relationship was never formed, and  would have  caused likely seperations from the mother. She died when the native was 15. The midheaven is in Scorpio and Pluto c. both Saturn and Mars. This too is in aspect to the Moon in Mars' sign of Aries, so the necessary violence is also there. Yet the suffering of such a life is almost certain
and she was the longest serving woman in the Californian prison lists.

Here we see a grand cross involving the nodes of the Moon, the South node in Scorpio,  and Saturn with Pluto is also involved. Certainly no lucky period. Of all the periods of the progressed Moon in its c. 29 year cycle, the progression through the winter Saturn-Uranus ruled sign of Aquarius is one of the coldest emotionally, a time when one is most tested and likely to be driven to one's own suicide or even, as in this case to murder.
Venus is still in the eighth, so one may assume that the lack of love from her own mother, played a role in the murder of a pregnant woman. Also she was influenced by a man in this deed.
